September is a very good month for my favorite Asian model, Liu Wen. It's only August but the number of editorials that she's having for September is amazing! She nabbed the cover of the very first issue of Numero China. A memorable feat since the other editions of Numero (French and Japanese) had Kate Moss on both of their debuts.

Not only that, Wen is part of an all-Asian cover of Vogue China! Together with Tao Okamoto, Shu Pei, Ming Xi, and Sun Fei Fei, Wen modeled clothes from Alexander Wang's latest F/W collection at a beach.

She also has a solo editorial taken by Paolo Roversi, wearing Louis Vuitton, Dries Van Noten, Proenza Schouler and Prada! 

Also, Liu Wen made her US Vogue debut in an all-star editorial shot by no less than the star-maker, Mr. Steven Meisel and styled by the iconic Mr. Edward Enninful! 

She also has an editorial for Teen Vogue entitled Pop Art.

Lastly, she has another solo editorial in Vogue China entitled, The Strong Street Woman.

Calling all the other editors of Vogue out there, US Vogue has taken notice of this Chinese star, I hope you also feature her in your pages and much better, in your covers... I may not be an authority in fashion but I know that Liu Wen is hardworking so she deserves to be a covergirl of major fashion magazines in the world. I hope that as the Fashion Week is closely coming, she'll walk all the major shows - whether it's in New York, London, Milan, or Paris. 

Liu Wen is the new star of the modelling and fashion world!!!

Dreamland is probably the darkest of all Sarah Dessen's novels I've read so far (after That Summer, This Lullaby, Just Listen and Keeping The Moon). This is not your average teen novel because it explores an issue which aren't talk about a lot - abusive relationships and boyfriends who think of their girls as punching bags. Despite its darkness, Sarah Dessen penned a book that will definitely touch a million hearts. This is her most mature novel yet and I love it.
