I've been thinking about giving up something. This something has given me so much lessons and at the same time so much stress which provokes me to give it up. I can't take it anymore. All the twists and turns are making me dizzy. It also questions my relationship with others who are also involve here. They have become my dear friends, most of them. But what I couldn't really take is that there are some people who are so ambitious that they will forget about the friendship. I guess I'm not really prepared to encounter such people. I thought that we're all in this together (High School Musical?). Seriously, they are so young yet so...

I was accepted as a trainee at an Online English School near our house! I was delighted since this is the first time that a company accepted me. My training will start on Monday, May 31, 2010 at 8:30am.

Ok, I've been looking for a job for the past three weeks and honestly, I haven't been successful. I wanted to try venturing first to other field since I believe that it will equip me to be a better educator someday. I graduated last March with a degree in Secondary Education Major in History but I told myself months ago that I want to try other jobs first before becoming a classroom teacher. Why? Because I want to gain more experience about the real world so that when I teach, it'll be more authentic since it came from what I've been through.

Dear Noynoy,
You are now swamped with suggestions and advice, but just the same, I hope you’ll have time to read what this octogenarian has to say.
You were not my choice in the last election but since our people have spoken, we must now support you and pray that you prevail. But first, I must remind you of the stern reality that your drumbeaters ignore: you have no noble legacy from your forbears. It is now your arduous job to create one yourself in the six years that you will be the single most powerful Filipino. Six years is too short a time — the experience in our part of the world is that it takes at least one generation — 25 years — for a sick nation to recover and prosper. But you can begin that happy process of healing.
Hayy... I just really hope that Noynoy will walk the walk so he can prove to everyone that he's worthy of becoming the next President of the Republic of the Philippines! I really hope that he'll be the change that he's been saying during his campaigns...

The Philippines has a new president. Although there's still NO OFFICIAL announcement that Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino is the new president of the Republika ng Pilipinas, the partial result has been consistent ever since the first counting was done last Monday. What was really wonderful in the last election was, in general, it was a SMOOTH ELECTION! Although there were reported deaths and vote-buying in some parts of the country, it was still a generally less-chaotic election. The Philippines is not known for smooth and clean elections but what happened last Monday is something I, as a Filipino, is so proud of! The counting was SO FAST that almost 80-90% of the total ballot was already tallied!!! Who could have thought that it is happening in the Philippines?!
